Pros and cons of RepCount - Gym Workout Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

RepCount - Gym Workout Tracker app good for

Probably the best and most easy way to track your workouts. Love it
I have search a long time and I have found a workout tracker that is simple, manageable and manipulative. I can add exercises, design my own workouts (or suggested workouts), repeat workouts and provides stats (volume, maxes, etc). I started with the free app and paid the app fee for the stats option because its an app worth supporting. Runs sooo smooth
I really like the simple no BS logging aspect of this app. Ive used all the other apps and they are mostly bloatware imo. An auto-start timer after completing a set would be nice and an estimated calories burned shareable via healthkit would be useful. Elminating some steps in the UX would make this app even better, i.e. Using scroll pickers instead of numeric keypad when updating sets/reps/weight would save me alot of time as well as being able to prefill sets/reps/weight in saved routines.
Ive tried a few other workout apps and this one is by far and away the best and easiest to use. Tracks weights and cardio in a basic easy to understand manner, which is what I was looking for but what other apps failed to deliver. This one does. 5/5
Update: Feb 12,2017: can you add a note section for each exercises in a workout. It would help the next time Im doing the workout and exercise to see the notes for that particular exercise. This app allows me to see my statistics, 1 rep max, my volume per workout etc. Which is great. A few things Id like suggest: when entering in reps or weights maybe adding an enter key option so instead of clicking on the next text box just hit enter and itll go to the next text box. Being able to change the name of the exercise within the workout/routine instead of having to go into the "add exercise" option to change the names. Another big thing is adding rep schemes. Youre able to add number of sets but not reps when I putting a workout. Other than that I love this app!!
Does exactly what I want it to do with a user interface that I intuitive and non limiting

Some bad moments

The app is now literally broken. None of the preset workouts can be accessed
Been using this app for about a year now and recently, the app hasnt been saving some of my workouts which is really annoying when I have to go back and try to remember what my numbers were for that day. Please fix! Then Ill of course give this app a 5 star!
You officially succeeded in making the app worse! Before I could enter sets w/o issue but since I did that recent update I have that $2.99 upgrade constantly popping up. That didnt use to happen in the old version. Shame on me for updating the app. Of course this wasnt mentioned in the "update" Nevertheless, congrats RepCount developers on taking a good thing and ruining it.
After I got the latest update this app stopped working. Now when I go to routines and push start this workout.. It just exits to my home screen. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still doesnt work. I liked this app before and used it everyday. Now Ill have to find something else.
Needs a calendar view; needs graphs of progress; needs; needs; needs...too many missing items to make it interesting. Its so basic that its useless.
I love this app for working out! It is the best one I have found on the App Store yet. It is simple to use with very little overhead to track your workout. This is important because most workout apps I have used either try to do too much and dont focus on the basics and make it difficult to use while working out, or are just very clunky. This app is a great combination of design and focus on realistic use at the gym. Now there are some features I would like added to the workout planner. One being setting target reps. Other than this it meets all my criteria for a great workout app.
